« The new variety combines The Collective’s smooth and creamy yogurt with a layer of British-grown Timperley rhubarb, Madagascan vanilla and a hint of aromatic Asian lemongrass for a fresh and contemporary compote. It incorporates the culinary expertise of New Zealander Hansen, who is chef-patron of The Modern Pantry in Clerkenwell, London.

For every 20 of the limited edition yogurts that it sells, The Collective will donate £1 to the charity Action Against Hunger, which works to save the lives of malnourished children and provide families with access to safe water and good nutrition. The new product is already available in most major British supermarkets with a recommended retail price of £2.39 for a 500g tub, and is set to be around for four months in total.

Hansen said: “Our partnership is the perfect match. The Collective makes delicious and adventurous yogurts and share my approach to combining global and contemporary ingredients to produce bold new flavours.

“For me this limited edition encapsulates the most exciting culinary trends of summer 2015. Rhubarb is distinctive in flavour, with vibrant flushes of pink, the lemongrass has refreshing and revitalising aromatics and both are perfectly balanced by the vanilla and creamy yogurt. I believe this collaboration showcases the way I combine classic and international flavours to create something entirely familiar yet original, and of course delicious.”

The Collective co-founder Amelia Harvey added: “We’re delighted to partner with Anna Hansen who, like us, loves to experiment with innovative flavour combinations to excite modern palates. The rhubarb, vanilla and lemongrass limited edition is fresh and exciting and encompasses everything that we love about British summertime. The collaboration not only celebrates delicious food, but importantly, raises money for Action Against Hunger, which both Anna and The Collective are proud supporters of”. »
