International companies take advantage of opportunities in Mexico
Reston, Va.; May 1, 2015 — Mexico continues to be an attractive export destination for international suppliers, satisfying 80-85 percent of its processing and packaging technology demand with imported machinery, according to PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies. The United States is one of the top three suppliers of processing and packaging machinery to Mexico, along with Italy and Germany.
For the 26,000 professionals expected to attend EXPO PACK México 2015 (June 16–19, Centro Banamex, Mexico City), convening with these international exhibitors remains one of the show’s signature benefits. Events include the National Congress of the Mexican Packaging Association (AMEE), the Envases Estelares Awards and Sustainable Company Awards, a full conference program by AMEE and the Mexico City debut of the Innovation Stage.
